The designing of the Wedel Cafe is no easy task for a beginner interior designer. In my work I have made an effort to design a space which would connect the old elements with the new, and the whole design would be based on contrast. A bold proposal for the design of the bar matches the classics of design – Thonet bentwood chairs.

These chairs remind us of the past and tradition along with other details which can be noticed in the interior, that is, carved tables, old chests of drawers, old pottery, and door woodwork. The inspiration for creating this kind of bar was a broken chocolate bar, and, consequently, its irregular shape. The bar dominates the interior noticeably.

The colors I have proposed are natural and warm. A lot of white brick, wood, and, as I have mentioned before, old pottery can also be found here.
